Our gap analysis begins with insight derived from our research. This will give us direction to prioritize the
right features.
-
Differences in communication, requirements & expectation between two users
-
Both want confidence in the system to verify job ads and candiate profiles.
-
Guidance & clear steps for the hiring process is a priority
-
Job ad cards & helper profile cards make information concise with good heirarchy
-
Employers is better informed which helpers are verified and other filtering measures
-
Helpers want notifications and updates on the hiring process
-
Clear hierarchy of anticipated information help both employers and helpers in their decision making process.
-
Both users can have a sense of autonomy and security with a clear verification process
-
Having clear steps and guidelines help users
This image although obscured for the same reason, this flowchart is the first version of service design upon launching. The reason we did this is so that every team member knows how they can work together for a better client experience. This will also help us pinpoint exactly what parts need to improve for future evaluation.
-
Chart flows from awareness to retainment
-
It involves action taken from physical to digital form.
-
Finally, each square is every action that every team member takes and how they correlate to each other.
-
Designing this flowchart began with an indepth discussion with the administrative team, marketing and business team
-
After organising the information they provided, I drew it up all with the end user in mind thus the user profile is included in the chart which include their priorities and requirements based on user research.
-
Among three moodboards presented, this one was picked.
-
From here, we were able to tell what kind of typography, color scheme, images and icons we wanted for the look and feel.
-
We started with lo-fi wireframes and organised userflows as well.
-
Aftewards, this hi-fi wireframes was consolidated. We did this first for important screens so that we know exactly the standards we want to have.
-
When the hi-fi wireframes were consolidated, we were able to make the design system.
-
From then on, any changes made in the design system also changes the hi-fi for cohesiveness and consistency.
Opportunity
The image on the left are screenshots of the app before we redesigned it. We also took note of the main problems by assumption off hand. We also tested these assumptions via user research..

How can we make this app cross-functional?
-
How can we also leverage this app for the better use of all the other children apps?

Usability test content
-
Although the image on the left is obscured for non-disclosure, our contents can be described as a script, 9 questions
to ask related to errors, method and more.
Test Results
-
The image on the
left is an example
of a problem in the gamified
rewards feature
we initiated in
order to increase
incentive. -
However, users feel a bit concerned when realising the app
automatically
gathers their data. -
So, we added a
prompt to help
user expectations
first.
-
Kept brand standards of the
classic HKT look and feel -
More contrasting colors and visual hierarchy to guide users
-
Confirm for premission of users
-
Prioritise privacy in order to win user confidence
-
A promotional wheel featuring all other HKT apps
-
This will users learn about other apps they don't have
-
It will help link children apps together
-
In-app payment features
